Meet the Team
JUN KUROMIYA and DANIEL LEWINSTEIN are award-winning filmmakers who grew up in Boston, where they made short films together as children. In high school, they made a feature-length film adaptation of The Catcher in the Rye, which fortunately has not been shown publicly. They have enjoyed collaborating ever since. In 2024, they formed Cedar Edge Films, named after the small Colorado town where they developed some of their work.
MORNING ON THE LAKE is Jun and Daniel’s first feature film project. In 2024, it was selected by the Stowe Story Labs Producing Program.
In addition, Cedar Edge Films is currently producing a documentary about animal rehabilitation programs within the US prison system.
